let's make a spectrometer analysis.

My spectrometer experiment had some very interesting results. My first light source had by far the best rainbow as I used my Iphone camera and was able to shine the light at close proximity and get a better rainbow than with the other sources.

My second source was the LED lights and it also produced a decent rainbow.

My 3rd source was the Sun and it had a rainbow too.

ANALYSIS

The reason that were able to see the rainbow is because of the source we used. The LED lights, Iphone flashlight, and Sun, are all examples of white light. When white light hits a prism it separates into different wave lengths known as the visible light waves. These wave lengths are part of a larger spectrum called the electomagnetic spectrum but the visible light waves are the only one we can see.
